The site is fairly old and a lot of the links no longer work. This has a wealth of how-to information as well as a page of links to free model pages. One that I have used a lot is Card Model FAQ. You can just download the file, print on your own paper and start building. Did I mention it was cheap? There are a bunch of sites offering free paper models. While paper does have its limitations where curvature is concerned, a practiced card modeller can make models out of paper that you would swear were plastic.

(Well just one more reason, I am hoping Mr Currel will post a new model, and that one day Chip will get someone to design the giant russsian planes he has posted as future releases, and that Murphyaa's Zepplin and Barling Bomber will be released, and there are a some models on ecardmodels I might spring for after I build a couple of Magnus' civil war ships, and there is the sailing ship model I expect to finish in another three or four years, rigging is not a speedy process especially when my period references do not agree. Now I have a reason to live while I wait for Mr Trotskiy to work through a complete download cycle. Than is the first trouble I have ever had with the Trotskiy downloads over many years!Īnd having explored Mr Trotskiy's new site, I saw planes that were new to me.
